Hi, I am Tony King ,proud owner and director of TWK ELECTRICAL LTD, we’ve been serving the electrical needs of People of the surrounding areas of Berkshire, Newbury, Thatcham, Reading, for over 10 years, have a look at our feedback
At the start of my electrical career, I worked for Taylor and Goodman ,I Paid for myself to go through city and guilds 2391 in evening classes in Bracknell, After a good 5 years learning my electrical trade at Taylor and Goodman
I then worked at Courage Brewery in Reading for 16 years, as a Maintenance Electrician until it closed in 2010. I then decided to start TWK ELECTRICAL LTD, in 2010, as a NICEIC approved contractor, and we have been striving to serve the electrical demands of our customers since then.
Jed is Tony’s son and started TWK electrical as an apprentice when he finished school at 16 years old in 2014. He has been fully qualified since March 2018 and has since completed the 18th edition course. In his spare time, Jed enjoys going to the gym, seeing live bands and booking (too many) holidays.
We now have a new apprentice Jamie at Basingstoke college on day release

5 ELECTRICAL STARS ALL THE WAY! ?????
We were married 50 yrs ago 10/10/70 & in all our time of needing electrical work for properties have never come across such great workmanship from start to finish!
May I add from the time of my 1st enquiry right through to getting a large amount of work done 4 rooms needing attention, 3 new storage heaters & a repair on our old kitchen one, job done in 1 day, Tony, his Son & another team member, & we waited less than 2 weeks to enable ordering of new equipment & completion of the whole job! You will never get better service anywhere! Plus the bonus is! they are really nice people and they are out to save you money! Many thanks to Tony, Jed & Jamie.

Boxing Day 2015
Today is Boxing Day 2015 – This morning the electrics in my house tripped, and nothing I tried would get them back on. My heart sank. I started calling round to see who would help me – many said no – its Boxing Day. But Tony didn’t. Not only was he prepared to come out, but prompt in arrival, solved the issue – checked all was well, and his charges were incredibly reasonable in the circumstances. Thank you Tony, you prevented me having a minor breakdown. I would recommend you to anyone, and will be calling you for all future electrical requirements. Thank you again – from a very grateful customer.

they came and completed job within a day. Replacement of ceiling light fittings. Very polite. Excellent work. Will definitely call again when electrical work needs doing. So refreshing to find a local tradesperson who takes a pride in his work!

Replacement of strip lights with LED units
I had an issue with some strip llights in my kitchen, I phoned TWK Electrical at about 8:30 the person I spoke to (Tony) was travelling and would phone me back once he arrived at his destination which he did a short time later, I explained my problem and was told that this type of light fittings were no longer available so I would need to replace them with new LED fittings, I agreed that this needed to be done and a short time later Jed arrived and replaced the old fittings with new LED units. All this was completed before lunch on the same day and at a very reasonable price. The new units provide much better lighting and I am vey pleased with the results. It is very unusual to find this level of service these days so I am very glad that I contacted TWK and have no hesitation in highly recommending them to anyone who requires any electrical works.

LIGHT IN THE DARK
We have used TWK several times in the past and have been very pleased with their work. This time was no exception. The lads came when they said they would and were very thorough in carrying out the job. They explained what was going on so that we were fully informed – and everything was very good as far as we were concerned.
They swept up after completion.
We are very happy now that we can see outside with the security light, plus the internal illuminations.
We shall certainly use TWK again when the need arises. They are in our file as the only electricians we shall be using in the future.
