All installations are in accordance to BS7671
Consumer unit replacements:
- If your consumer unit (fuse board) requires replacing or upgrading, we tend to replace it with an SPD (surge protection device) controlled consumer unit. The consumer unit would also include RCDs. An RCD (trip switch) is provided for protection of the circuit as well as a safety feature for users. All consumer units also come with NICEIC certification where all fixed wiring in the board is tested.
Replacement or installations of switches/sockets etc:
- We provide replacements and installation of all household switches, sockets, pendants, fused spurs etc. We keep high quality whitegoods on our van including sockets with USB outlets, weatherproof sockets, coax points and much more.
NICEIC reports/ certificates:
- TWK can issue many NICEIC certificates including electrical installation condition reports, emergency lighting certificates, smoke alarm certificates, minor works and electrical installation certificates.
Full house rewire:
- If your house requires a full or partial rewire, we will chase in all new positions, first fix all wiring, cap and bond new cable drops and second fix. In this process we will also give an NICEIC certificate for electrical installations.
Installation of LED spotlights:
- We can replace or install brand new LED spotlights. The spotlights we install are 240v fire rated lights with removable bulbs and bezels. The bulbs we use have an expected life of around 10 years and are normally only 5W instead of the outdated 50W halogen bulbs. We also provide the lights with either white or brushed nickel bezels.
Replacements or installations of new outdoor lights and sockets:
- We replace and install many outdoor lights and sockets including PIR sensor lights, dusk to dawn sensors, floodlights, garden spotlights, decking lights and much more.
Car charging points:
- We are beginning to install car chargers for new electric cars including tesla among other brands.
Immersion elements:
- We have replaced many elements for immersions. This includes draining down the immersion tank, cleaning out all limescale accumulated and replacing the element with an incoloy element to prevent burnout.
